ATTI Needs Assessment: Orientation & Data-Capturing Workshop in Chattogram Achieves Key Milestones
The Sustainability Nexus (SusNex) Ltd. is delighted to report that the Chattogram edition of the Apparel & Textile Transformation Initiative (ATTI) Needs Assessment Orientation & Data-capturing Workshop, held on 13 August 2026, was a resounding success.
The high-impact session brought together over 50 key representatives from factories across the Chattogram region’s textile and Ready-Made Garment (RMG) sector to advance evidence-based sustainability planning for Bangladesh's apparel industry.
Uniting Industry Stakeholders Across Dhaka & Chattogram
We were honored to welcome distinguished representatives from both the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and the Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA), with delegates joining from their respective Dhaka and Chattogram headquarters. This joint participation underscores strong, unified commitment across the national apparel ecosystem.
Achieving Core Workshop Objectives
The interactive workshop fulfilled its core mission by combining strategic orientation with real-time data collection:
- ATTI Needs Assessment Orientation: Comprehensive walkthrough detailing the scope, methodology, and strategic goals of the national assessment.
- Survey Questionnaire Walkthrough: Detailed guidance explaining key metrics across environmental, social, and operational performance categories.
- Live Data-Capturing Exercise: Participants completed the live survey exercise via Survey Monkey, generating direct empirical evidence to inform the upcoming National Transformation Plan for Bangladesh's textile sector.
Collaborative Governance & Next Milestones
This initiative was organized with valuable support from GIZ, BGMEA, and BKMEA, and implemented in close cooperation with the Government of Bangladesh.
